| This is huge a beautifully preserved old typical village house, approx. 300m², built on solid rock with three floors. It is at the top of the small village of el Golco, at 900m above sea level. It is over 150yrs old and has been damp proofed to keep its old thick walls dry. The ground floor is a corral / stable; it has not been renovated but all the beams and walls are in good condition. The first floor enters into a large living room with lots of light and a balcony with great south eastern facing views. Also on this floor there is a kitchen with a big old walk in fireplace and typical built in selves. There are three more good sized rooms on this floor. The second floor has one large room which leads to a long covered terrace with spectacular views. All the old slate and beam ceilings and the roof are in good condition. The doors and windows are made of chestnut wood and have been well looked after. Electricity is connected to the village mains. The water would need to be plumbed into the house.
